• 23 Feb 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I do not know if Hon. (Dr.) Oundo had looked at the Bill. This is because, Clause 20 (2) provides for exactly the same. That the Commissioner should ensure that a child who is in need of refugee status and is considered a refugee receives appropriate protection unassisted. That is in accordance with the law and so we are adding something that is already provided for. Hon. (Dr.) Nyikal you may well consider whether you need to continue prosecuting that or withdraw it. view
