If I am promoting that Kenyans should drive on the left or right side, I should convince them to vote my way, so that I cannot be told that I did not have enough public participation.   • 11 Feb 2021 in National Assembly: different people. We will be working on what amendment we need because this is a great opportunity that we have as Kenyans to make a good law. The other thing I would like to highlight is that we are probably assuming that we do not have a law. Our current Elections Act of 2011 provides for conducting of referenda. Actually, we do not have a shortage. What we are doing here is to amend that Act by getting a stand-alone referendum law.
