26 Nov 2020 in National Assembly:
Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, based on what you have guided and the earlier guidance given on this debate on avoidance of personalisation of issues, will I be in order to ask that you order that the words uttered by Hon. Ndindi Nyoro in casting aspersions on the leadership of the Committee be expunged from the record of the proceedings of this House? Now that he has finished his contribution, he may not be able to provide evidence.

I know the Mover and the Seconder have highlighted a number of benefits. However, I want to put it on record that as a country, we moved into blue economy. There is a lot of emphasis on the blue economy. With this accession to ...

19 Nov 2020 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, we gave an undertaking in the House Business Committee (HBC) that Thursday mornings will be dedicated to Private Members’ Bills and Motions. We also have a small limitation in terms of the court order; that kind of froze in processing of these Bills until we reach some concurrence between ourselves and the Senate. Last week, we were fortunate to have the Annual State of the Nation Address by His Excellency the President. Traditionally, you cannot interrupt the ...

19 Nov 2020 in National Assembly:
For us to have the three days as a block, we agreed to ask Members to forfeit this morning. Never mind there was not much Private Members’ business except a few Motions. We still need to come to you to formally give you for processing of business sponsored by the Majority Party. So, this Motion is basically to ask for that. I hope you will indulge us in that request. I beg to move and ask my colleague, the Leader of the Minority Party to second.
