The KFS Management was initially reluctant to recognize the Dock Workers Union as there was already a recognition agreement with the TAWU and were consulting the Central Organization of Trade Union (COTU), the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) and the Ministry of Labour for advice on the way forward. view
