We have seen the continuous investment of over 25 per cent in education. We need to recognise that politicians from across the divide build consensus and coalitions. We have seen bipartisan working relationships in committees of this House. He requires the police, lawyers and all these people but he is now telling them he is independent. It was put well in the morning that independence does not necessarily mean working alone.
