  • 19 May 2021 in National Assembly: Martha Koome is a focused lady, independent-minded and solution-based. The Judiciary is a centre stage of resolving disputes in this country. So, we need a lady with the qualities that she has. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. • 15 Oct 2020 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. Sorry my card was not working. I will contribute for a minute because I can see my senior has interest in this debate. view
  • 15 Oct 2020 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I also support the debate on the issue of gender. Since Independence, we have been crying about the girl child. The population of the girl-child is now higher than that of the boy-child. The concentration has all along been on the girl-child. It is high time we now think about the boy-child. The SFRTF deals with all items that are factored in the food reserves of a country. For a country to be secure in terms of food production, you need milk, fish, sugar and beans. You need all items. The NCPB only deals with cereals. That is ... view

  • 5 Aug 2020 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I like the spirit of this Bill that seeks to align the pension under the new Constitution and seeks to cure the deficit that has been there between the National Assembly and the Senate. The Senate was being left out. view
