The issue is not who owns the land. That is not what the House is going to deliberate on. It is about what led to the exhumation of a body. Again, the fact that it has been mentioned that there was dispute over the land does not necessarily prejudice this case. view

(b) Can the Minister confirm that the officers met their death while on duty? (c) What assistance did the Government extend to the families of the deceased during the burials? view
• 8 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, this Assistant Minister seems to have been given wrong information. There is not a single cent that has been paid by this Ministry to the families of the deceased in support of the burial. The coffin was also paid for by the family. Indeed, even there was no vehicle. Even the aircraft was just going to pick the examination. It had to go round the whole of northern Kenya, but finally, it brought the body. Why is he giving wrong information on a matter that is sensitive of this nature? view
