  • 27 Feb 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you so much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Let us not blame him. You can see that he was crossing over to see a beautiful person. It has drawn the attention of all Members. I will go back to the Bill which is very crucial. Vihiga County has not seen any improvement from the national Government concerning our roads. For example, there are roads like Mago-Mululu-Vokoli, Gisambai-Shamakhokho and Maseno-Luanda, where nothing is seen to have been done. Therefore, I urge the Chairman of this noble committee to make a follow up, so that every county can enjoy the noble idea ... view

I want to say that people are happy. This peace should prevail. Even the mood in the House shows that people are actually in love. This is the mood that we should always have in this House. • 13 Dec 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise to support the Motion, noting that Kenya has really delayed the EALA. As we vote, I wish to urge members to mind about women. We have women in both parties; the Jubilee Party and NASA. We want to see women and people living with disabilities being elected to the EALA. As Hon. Maanzo said, we should not have spoilt votes. It is my prayer that as we vote tomorrow, we must not spoil our votes or abstain from voting. From the look of things, operations at the EALA have been delayed, and the blame ... view
  • 13 Dec 2017 in National Assembly: Therefore, tomorrow, we need to work as the National Assembly that is representing the whole of Kenya. The people we are going to elect to sit at the EALA should work for the whole country and also bring peace to the entire region. On that list, we have strong women like Jane Moronge and Beth Syengo, among others. I kindly urge the men in this House to support the women, and support each other, during the noble exercise of voting tomorrow. With those remarks, I support the Motion. view
  • 7 Nov 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for the opportunity. I also thank Hon. Naomi for giving me that one minute. This is a very important policy because Kenyans need it as a guide on how to handle climate change. Climate change affects all sectors of every area and this includes health, agriculture, trade, tourism and many more. With this kind of a policy all stakeholders can focus on how to protect the climate systems so that it can benefit the present and future generations. view
