Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (a) by deleting the expression “for the financial year 2021/2022” appearing after the word “allocations”. This amendment is to prevent double allocation of resources to county governments as these funds are already provided for in the FY 2021/2022 through the County Allocation of Revenue Act, 2021. The Bill provides for a framework for disbursement of additional resources from the National Government’s equitable share to county governments. view

Section 25 of the PFM Act provides that the Cabinet Secretary, National Treasury, to submit the BPS by 15th February each year.
