THAT, Clause 31 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (6)— ―(6A) Where an audit report has been tabled, the Speaker of the National Assembly shall invite the Auditor-General to present the report before the Committee of the whole House‖ The effect of this amendment is to ensure that after the annual audit by the Auditor-General, this House is given an opportunity to listen to the reports of the Auditor-General, just as we listen to the Cabinet Secretary when we are receiving Estimates.
