If you do not have documents, you are given a reduction of up to 40 per cent. If you do not keep your records of expenses, then you will only be allowed to deduct a maximum of 40 per cent. The intention was to exempt it from the VAT aspect, but it is now put in the wrong place. Hon. Duale is trying to remove it from the wrong place.
