2 Dec 2014 in Senate:
Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I also want to support this Motion. From the outset, I want to send my condolences to the people of Mandera, the Senator for Mandera and the families of the people who lost their lives. Indeed, it is shocking and unbelievable. It is a loss, not only to the people of Mandera, but to the whole country. Those who lost their lives come from all over the country. Even if they came from Mandera, they are Kenyans. So, we should start looking at this country as a Kenyan nation. The only way we can fight insecurity ...

26 Nov 2014 in Senate:
Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for the opportunity to also join my colleagues, the Hon. Senators in condemning the threat very strongly. Nobody has a right to threaten somebody else and talk about somebody else’s life. No matter what one person says or does because there are channels if one wants to put a case against somebody, one can always go to court. Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity also to contribute to this important Motion. 19 Nov 2014 in Senate:
Thank you Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for the opportunity you have given me to contribute and to join my colleagues in eulogizing our dear colleague whom I have worked with in three consecutive Parliaments and now in this Senate. We were both elected, as others have said, in 1997 for the first time. For three consecutive terms, we served in Parliament. In the previous term, we served in the Cabinet together and after 2013, we found ourselves in the Senate. So, if I say that I know hon. Kajwang, I really do know his capability and work. I said, this ...

22 Oct 2014 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. Is the Hon. Senator in order not to tell the whole truth to the House, that I rejected the Motion to go The Hague. I was on the Government side and the President was in the House when we were voting as Government to create a local court for our people to be tried locally. Even in the Cabinet, I stood firm on having a local process.
