On the 8th of December 2022, the President came to Kakamega and launched this project, alongside commercial aircraft, which have been ongoing. He came again on the 18th of June, this year, and announced the construction of an apron at Kshs50 million, the Cabinet Secretary knows. • 22 Nov 2023 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise to support this Bill. I read somewhere that the more things change, the more they remain the same. The objective of this Bill is that we have- “An act of Parliament to provide for the establishment of the Coffee Board of Kenya, and the Coffee Research Institute; to provide for the role of the national and the county governments; provide for the regulation, development and promotion of coffee industry; and for connected purposes.” There is nothing new in the objective of this Bill.
