  • 31 May 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT the words "adoptive brother" and "adoptive sister" be deleted altogether from this Clause 22 (1) and that Clause 22 (2)(e) be deleted. This is because the way we understand it, incest is sex among close blood relatives. We have very many case where a warm-hearted person finds a young girl, who is doing very well in secondary school and has no parent to educate her. He then brings her under his care, and educates her. Then 10 years later, one of his sons marries this girl. Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, ... view
