The fact remains that there will an election on 26th October. The earlier we face that fact, the better because it is the law. We are not the ones who are saying it but the law, Hon. Deputy Speaker. • 28 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: I have always known Hon. Chris Wamalwa as a guy who thinks right. I do not know what is happening today. I have never known him to listen to instructions. I have always known him to be a guy who speaks his heart and mind. I am even sure he will still continue being the Deputy Minority Whip. So, he does not need to campaign too much. We support him. view

The previous Protocol only focussed on matters of human rights and general rules of international law. However, with this new ... view
  • 28 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: I thank the honourable members that have contributed to this important Motion which actually aims at ensuring that the true spirit of the EAC does actually continue to be and that the trade resolutions and trade matters around the Community can be resolved amicably when they do arise. With those few remarks, I beg to reply. view

  • 28 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, the recess is indeed timely noting that fresh elections are just around the corner scheduled for 26th October 2017. There is no doubt that the campaigns for the presidential elections are about to reach fever pitch. With less than 28 days to go, our tempo for elections is about to change. view
