Mr. Speaker, Sir, we have a problem with issuance of birth certificate in the Kapsabet and Nandi Hills registries. However, when you pay Kshs1,000 or Kshs2,000, your birth certificate miraculously appears. One of the proposals that we are looking forward to is that village elders and assistant chiefs should be given powers to ensure that birth certificates are provided everywhere in this country.
