I rise, pursuant to Standing Order No. 53 (1), to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries on subsidization of farm inputs by the Government of Kenya. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Spell out plans by the Government, if any, to subsidize farm inputs, including seeds and pesticides, during the upcoming planting season, specifying the applicable rates for the same.
