Bidco is a serious manufacturing firm. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bidco, Mr. Vimal Shah, is a very respectable man. We expect him to lead from the front. It is very disappointing because he was the Chairman of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance yet his organisation is leading in bad practices. We lose a lot of money in this country through corruption. We lose about Kshs. 400 billion yet Kenyans are starving. People are starving in North Eastern and Taita Taveta. For you to succeed in any business, you must have insurance cover in place. How I wish that “ Takaful” name was done away with so that we use some name which is standard. However, since it is faith-based, we will allow it - There is freedom of everything. When you interrogate the issues, you find that the problem comes from the board of directors. We can look at the KQ under Titus Naikuni as the CEO and the current CEO, Mr. Ngunze. When this Institute is in place, some people will be too old and things will have changed. They must be encouraged to go for continuous training. We have people who practised law a long time ago and law has been changing. So, unless there is continuous training, you will be outdated.
