Pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c), I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning regarding the Public Finance Management (Tourism Promotion Fund) Regulations, 2019. It shall consist of the Cabinet Secretary (CS) responsible for tourism who is the chairperson of the board or, in his or her absence, the Principal Secretary (PS) responsible for matters relating to tourism and six Principal Secretaries, and two persons of opposite gender appointed by the CS responsible for matters relating to tourism, in accordance with Article 27 of the Constitution.
