When you look at it, each one of those vessels takes away in demurrage charges alone Kshs200 million in two days. Every one of those vessels! There are seven of them every month which totals to about Kshs1.5 billion every month. When you compute that for the whole year, we are looking at in excess of almost Kshs15 billion that is lost on this one item alone and which is factored into the cost of fuel in the country.
