Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I will go on to read the evidence of some of the key witnesses just to refresh the memories of the hon. Members. The Minister for Finance, Mr. Amos Kimunya, accompanied by Mr. Joseph Kinyua, the Permanent Treasury and Prof. Njuguna Ndung'u, Governor of Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), appeared before the Committee on Wednesday, 21st May, 2008. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I do not think there is any Standing Order that requires that proceedings of the Select Committee must be recorded verbatim. If there is one, I would like it to be quoted. What I know is that the proceedings of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) must be recorded verbatim. I do not think that the proceedings of any other Select Committee must be recorded.
