Mr. Speaker, Sir, we also have many problems on the eastern side of the Aberdares with elephants because they destroy our crops. There are also many monkeys which are a menace to our community. When is the Assistant Minister going to post an officer from the KWS to be able to control these animals that are destroying our crops?

Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, looking at the nature of this Question, you find that there are many problems that we are facing in Saudi Arabia with our people. The said lady died over three months ago. There has been no communication between our Government and that of Saudi Arabia. Her relatives are not being advised. If it will be deferred to any other time, it should be in an hour’s time because the hon. Minister says he does not know where the Minister for Foreign Affairs and his Assistant Minister are. The parents of these children are so much ...

Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. Accepting that there are 115 senior public officers who have resigned--- Recently, we had many changes in the civil service. Some of the officers in the civil service lost their jobs due to malicious allegations because they were forced to quit their positions. Could some of those people who have been cleared by the courts - an example being the former Managing Director of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), Mr. Waweru - be reinstated? Could the Minister appoint Mr. Waweru to one of the positions that has fallen vacant due to the resignation of ...

Mr. Speaker, Sir, most of the schools in this country are under either the Catholic, Anglican or AIPCEA churches. There is a big danger because the land owned by these churches is also being taken over by municipal councils to be allocated to other organisations. What immediate action will the Assistant Minister take to make sure that these pieces of land that belong to the churches are not given out to other organisations?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am still very current. I got my licence renewed last week. On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. When the Assistant Minister was replying to this Question, he said that the Ministry normally intervenes when a Kenyan is in trouble. We have information that the Ministry is aware of one girl, Anesta Muthoni Gariega, who died in Saudi Arabia sometime in June but up to now, it has not done anything. Is the Assistant Minister in order to say that they only intervene when somebody is in trouble? When are they going to ...

Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, in his answer, the Minister said that he is negotiating for some funds from the BADEA to do that road but we have other roads in this country which are being funded by the Government and even the design and funding has been released. An example is the Murang’a-Gitugi Road
