According to the Constitution, in Article 224 (2), money from the Equalisation Fund shall remain in the Consolidated Fund within the National Treasury, if it is not used. I wish to urge the Committee to ensure that there is transparency in the use of the Equalisation Fund, particularly in providing the House with a compendium of projects that will be undertaken in marginalized areas across the country.   • 17 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I pray that you remain on that seat. I rise to support this Motion with the understanding that marriage is the most important human institution. In our country, marriage is governed. It is clearly stated in the Constitution, under Article 45, that the family is the natural and fundamental unit of society and the necessary basis of social order. So, if individuals are asked whether they are married, they are being asked a very fundamental question. view
