  • 27 Sep 2023 in National Assembly: (Nakuru Town East, UDA). After what we had in Mombasa, we have become a little bit serious with our work, Hon. Temporary Chairman. I support this amendment. If you look at the New Clause 49A, subclause 5, it says that: “Despite any other written law, the assets of the Funds shall not be liable to attachment under any process of law.” I want to agree. There is a tendency of people going to court and attaching properties. This will go a long way in protecting the property. view

The President has made it very clear that he has to act as per the law and the Constitution of this country to either borrow money or do whatever else he is supposed to do to clear our debt. The Leader of the Majority Party ... view

  • 11 May 2022 in National Assembly: I know it was in the last Session, but I do not remember the actual date. But I asked on this matter; and I even went ahead and named some four notorious schools, Hillcrest Secondary School being one of them, which are still sending students home as the Ministry is mapping out schools. The Cabinet Secretary has pronounced himself that no child should be sent home. view
