Temporary Deputy Chairman, I am not privy to the Mining Act and what it says and whether there is a conflict, but this is just a regulatory authority to regulate the industry. It has nothing to do with mining. Regarding the Mining Act, I am not privy to that. Maybe he can inform me accordingly. view
• 28 Nov 2019 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I think Hon. Osotsi is right and the wording of Clause 42(1) is very specific. It says: “subject to the provisions of any other written law.” He could be right. I think that answers what Hon. Osotsi is referring to. If it is there, then this is subject to that. Thank you. view
