• 30 May 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. This Question has been on the Order Paper twice. Initially, I directed the Question to the Ministry of Water and Irrigation but when officials from the Ministry visited the project site, they discovered that the project was not under the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. It is the Ministry of Water and Irrigation that re-directed the Question to the Ministry of Regional Development Authorities. I am reminded that this project is under the Lake Basin Development Authority. view
• 17 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is a very sad event that took place in this particular school. As a nation, we should encourage co-existence of students themselves in their schools. That is why we encourage the elevation of many schools to a national status. The Assistant Minister has given us the steps that they are taking in this particular school. However, what concrete steps is he taking to ensure that in all our schools within the Republic such a thing will not take place? view

How many of these actually received or got promotion? Are you satisfied that the right percentage of your staff have been promoted, in order to ensure efficiency? view
• 16 May 2012 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Roads:- (a) whether he is aware that Road C37 which passes through three constituencies, namely; Emgwen, Mosop and Eldoret North is in a bad state and impassable; (b) whether he could confirm that repair and maintenance of the road, especially the stretch at Mosop has not been done for the last three years; and, (c) what urgent measures he will take to ensure that the road is motorable. view
• 16 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is a very important road. Being a class C37 in a highly potential area, you would understand the importance of this road. While I thank the Assistant Minister for confirming that there is some money and that the contractor is on site, could he clarify who the contractor is and how much has been allocated specifically to the Turbo-Kimondi Section of the road. view
• 16 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister has indicated that he has allocated Kshs44 million to the Turbo-Kimondi Section of the road. This is very good news to the people of Mosop if, indeed, the amount will be utilized for that specific road. Could the Assistant Minister confirm exactly, the specific works that the contractor is expected to do; whether he is doing grading and full murraming of the road because this is a highly potential place? view
• 16 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to commend the Assistant Ministry for the supply of electricity to rural areas. However, is he aware that several transformers that they have been fixing have been blowing up within a day or two days? Could he inform the House what he is doing to ensure that they purchase quality transformers that can last longer? view
• 16 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, now that the Minister has mentioned the National AIDS Control Council which is a very important body, could she confirm to this House that this body does not operate on any law? What has she done to ensure that the National AIDS Control Council Bill is brought to this House to enable them operate legally and with clear directions within that Bill? view
