  • 28 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am talking about the Kenya Railways Corporation. The fact that it was handed over to another owner does not mean that it will run away from its responsibilities. view
  • 28 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I will try to hasten the KRC to pay, but we must appreciate that there are many other retirees who have not been paid their dues. We have given this case priority. If more money is remitted to Reli SACCO, it will definitely clear these arrears. view
  • 22 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply--- view
  • 22 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I do apologise. I had been told otherwise. I seek the indulgence of the House because with regard to this Question, which, actually, reached me quite late, I am not satisfied with the answer that I have here, which has been done by my officers. So, I seek the indulgence of the House that I answer this Question on Tuesday, next week. view

  • 16 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: The Professor said that "as we go to finish this Government." That is verbatim. I want her to substantiate or withdraw that particular remark. view
  • 16 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for also giving me this opportunity to also give my views on this matter. Indeed, I agree with those opposing this Motion. view
  • 16 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I realise I am in the Government. I also realise that I cannot be in the Government if I am not in this House. The first thing I must do is to make sure I come to this House and give my views. It is true that where the Government is right, we should say it is right. The problem with the Opposition is that when they come here they want to become angels. This Motion was discussed in the House Business Committee and some Members of the Opposition are its members. view
  • 16 Aug 2007 in National Assembly: Who said they are not there? Go and get the list! view
