12 Mar 2014 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, you have actually said exactly what I was going to say. I would request for, at least, one month, considering that the camps and the lodges are in hundreds. It will take us time to look at the issues at hand and, maybe, just sample a few. It will not be possible for us to visit all the lodges and camps in that area, but we might have to look at two or three. Some of them belong to the same company.

12 Mar 2014 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, I believe that a month would be enough for us to carry out investigation, so that we can bring a Statement. Should we require more time, we can still come back to the House and request for more time.

11 Mar 2014 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, I request to be given four weeks because, listening to the Member of Parliament, I think it will be prudent for us to visit the said estate to establish the issues that he has raised.

6 Mar 2014 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, I would not want to promise two weeks because looking at the magnitude of the Statement that is sought, I think three weeks will be adequate to give a proper answer. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor.

5 Mar 2014 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, two weeks would be adequate, considering the fact that we sent this information to the relevant Ministry but we have not received a response yet. So, two weeks would be fair.

4 Mar 2014 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, before I move this Motion, allow me to first congratulate students, teachers and parents of Matungu for the exemplary performance in the just announced results, where as a constituency, Matungu emerged number eight nationally. I want to thank them for the good performance and confirm that I will continue supporting them in the next year. I also want to take this opportunity to congratulate our daughter, Lupita Nyong’o, for the exemplary performance and achievement of receiving the Oscar Award yesterday. She has made us very proud.
