5 Nov 2020 in National Assembly:
I join my colleagues by thanking the Chair of the Committee. When you look at the Covid- 19 pandemic, there is a very clear indication that we require a culture change. We need to change how we engage in business. We need a change of the attitude of all Kenyans, and in particular, the The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. frontline workers. I support the Report because we can see that it has come with very specific indications of issues that need to be addressed. The police officers need PPE. We need to ensure that their infrastructure reflects the times and needs to bring them to a context where they will be well taken care of. Most importantly, I agree with Hon. Bunyasi. When I look at what is happening in our country, one of the key areas that I urge the Committee to focus on is capacity building to ensure that we bring change of attitude.

5 Nov 2020 in National Assembly:
When I go to Siaya County, I wear a mask. Some of the people jokingly say that I am the one who has brought the Coronavirus. They think that if the virus is there, it is out there in the urban areas. I add that we need social scientists, particularly those who know how to deal with behavioral issues, and how you can speak to an audience in such a way that you resonate deep within their belief systems and train them.

17 Sep 2020 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady for giving me an opportunity. I want to thank the Committee because this is a rare opportunity for the young people in this country to be in leadership. I want to support the amendment because the Constitution is very clear on the issue of inclusivity. I champion inclusivity in this country. I am very particular especially when it comes to the issue of including youths with disabilities in such a body. This is a national body and it would be prudent to see from the Committee the allocation as stipulated in the Constitution. That, ...

17 Sep 2020 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for the opportunity to also contribute and support this amendment on this issue that is eating our country, which is cancer. Just like many of my colleagues in this House, I also have a case, as we speak, of a young girl in my village called Baby Sharon who is at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) trying to take care of a cancer situation. As usual, we Kenyans, are busy fundraising to support her through Harambee to ensure that her eye is taken care of at KNH.I wish baby Sharon quick recovery. Hon. Wanga has ...

them progresses to stage four. They come all the way from Isebania to Kenyatta National Hospital or to the Texas Cancer Centre. That is why you are seeing so many quacks. In fact, there are quacks in this country. They are fleecing people.
