  • 25 Apr 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you so much Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker and thank you, Hon. G.K for giving me a minute or two to also echo the contributions my colleagues have made to this Bill. Water is life and because of that, we cannot do without water. This Bill enhances the fact that we should have storage management systems in place, not only in cities but also in rural areas of this country. We are one very lucky country to have had rainfall almost throughout the year in several parts of the country but we are not making good use of the same ... view
  • 22 Feb 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for this opportunity to contribute to this Bill. I am a Member of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing. I, therefore, thank the Members for having burnt the midnight oil to come up with this Bill and its amendments. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, you know that roads play a pivotal role in economic development of any country. • 20 Feb 2018 in National Assembly: very little to intervene. In Bomet County, our rivers are drying up. We used to have a very good forest, namely, the Chepalungu Forest. As I speak, there are no trees due to deforestation. We have not planted more trees. I support this Sessional Paper and hope that the new CS for Environment and Forestry will help us on the way forward on this matter. Thank you. view
  • 14 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I have been here since yesterday. Finally, I have gotten the opportunity. First of all, let me thank the Almighty God for bringing me to this place. My name is Hon. Dominic Koskei, Member of Parliament for Sotik. I am grateful to the people of Sotik for having faith in me. For you to note, you were together with my dad in the 8th and 9th Parliaments. He was replaced by the former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Laboso whom together you worked with in the Speaker’s Panel and who is now the ... view
