First, there was a reason why the President and Members of Parliament (MPs) felt that Cabinet Secretaries should appear before this House to answer certain Questions that actually affect Kenyans. It is disrespectful of them to fail to appear before this House and to the people of Kenya. We have provisions under the powers and privileges where Cabinet Secretaries are actually supposed to be summoned, failure to which they can also be charged a certain fee. Having sat in this House for some time, I can confirm that all the impeachment Motions that came to the Floor of this House are all political. I wish to confirm that also this one is political. All these grounds of removal of the Deputy Governor of Siaya County are flimsy.
