I am sure the people of Isiolo are also waiting for your decision on the matter. This is a weighty matter and it is good if the House gives direction because as I speak, the people of Isiolo are suffering. We are not getting service delivery at all. The people who are in hospital, including those who are on oxygen, are sent home. There is no service delivery at all. Mr. Speaker, Sir, kindly give us direction on this. view

  • 2 Oct 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, I join my colleagues to welcome Hon. Mbadi. My question is on revenue because it is related to development projects and their funding. We have never gotten it right as far as the system on collection and automation of revenue in the counties are concerned. Over the years, we have the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to collect revenues on behalf of counties. Recently, there was a proposal that they want to come up with a system that is going to take care of revenue automation in the counties, so that we have a uniform system. ... view
