The other thing which the President addressed was the Big Four Agenda. He specifically touched on housing where the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) has amended the Act on pension to allow members to use part of their pensions for acquiring houses. This is a very good initiative because most of us Kenyans dream of owning homes. It is not easy to own a home. He is one of Kenya’s first Directors of Education. He was posted to Nairobi as an education officer at Independence where he rose through the ranks to be the Chief Director of Education.
