You heard the Assistant Minister for Lands, who has declared his interest to run for the presidency of this country, reduce the Attorney-General of this country to a particular community. Is he in order for him to reduce the Attorney-General to his corner, when the Attorney-General is an officer of the Republic of Kenya?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wish to support this Motion. I do not think that we really need a Motion of Adjournment for the Government to get organized just as when we are not in the plenary; we have time to do committee work. So, that cannot be the reason for us to seek this break. The only good reason is that Parliament will now have the opportunity to interrogate some of the matters that have appeared before the House.
