Elizabeth Ongoro Masha

Elizabeth won the Kasarani parliamentary seat in 2007, a constituency that was previously dominated by hardened male politicians. She also served as an assistant minister in the coalition government and was ODM party’s deputy Chairperson.

I want to remind us to consider the role of Parliament as enshrined in the Constitution under Article 94, with specific reference to Article 94(1) and (4) bearing in mind the fact that the Senate constitutes Parliament as the “Upper” House.
