  • 29 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it sounds very strange that Ministry is talking about guided tours, and yet we know that if you boarded somebody’s truck at the back, even if you are involved in an accident, you will find the owner of the vehicle being sued for damages. How come that the Ministry is not being held responsible, and yet it is the one that mans the waters? view
  • 16 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like the Minister to clarify whether the CRC is going to factor in its work plan money for the construction of this bridge from the 20 per cent allocation, or there is a special allocation from the Roads view
  • 17 Aug 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while I understand that these companies are out to make money, it is also important for the Assistant Minister to tell us why it is not possible for them to indicate clearly on their networks that somebody has entered a zone that is served by a different company. That is the only way they can know whether they are enjoying local or international tariffs? view

  • 17 Aug 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister. But even though at times the ocean tide is erratic, I would like to know the role the lifesavers or the instructors played in trying to save the lives of those two young men. Apparently, it appears that they were not prepared and there was no fault committed by the instructors. Could the Assistant Minister inform us what role the instructors or the lifesavers played in trying to save them? view
  • 17 Aug 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. While also requesting for the Question to be deferred for a more elaborate answer, could the Minister table the payments that have been made to the beneficiaries? view
  • 27 Jul 2011 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Medical Services:- (a) whether he is aware that M/s Unispan Construction Company Limited, which was awarded the contract to refurbish Embu Provincial view
  • 27 Jul 2011 in National Assembly: General Hospital, is yet to complete the works despite the lapse of the contract period in June 2010; (b) whether he could give the reason for the delay; and, (c) what measures he will take to stop further delay of the project and ensure the contractor does not abandon the works before completion. view
