Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I painfully remember that in the last bipartisan years, there was concern across the aisle on an attempt to raid the Roads Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF) and make it part of the equitable share to counties. We passed a resolution that at least former councillors that we have, at that time totaling to around 12,000 across the country, be paid at least Kshs 200,000 as a one- off.
