Perhaps, what we have seen previously, where members of the same Committee have come out here to actually contradict and undermine their own Report, will not be seen in respect of this report. As a member of that Committee, I want to assure this House that the names were properly vetted. There was consensus and wide consultations. The information we have is that, that road was allocated some funds during the KANU regime. Could the Assistant Minister confirm or dig through the records in the last ten to 20 years to confirm whether the funds allocated for that road were actually diverted to another district?
