Therefore, I am asking that the Government comes in and constructs storage facilities in areas that rear fish. For example in my area of Kitale, we are thinking of having storage facilities, so that we can expand the market.

Thirdly, if you find it very expensive to use electricity, you can use solar energy to be able to have your cold storage facilities running. The other thing I want to encourage Members of Parliament to do is to get back to our constituencies and have the youth form groups, because out there we have regional development authorities, I had the privilege of working with the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA), Tana and Athi River Development Authority (TARDA) and Ewaso Nyiro South Development Authority. They have actually a section on fish farming; if you are in their area and you ...

Hon. Speaker, Sir, the other thing which I am impressed about is that the other day I was reading that the new Cabinet Secretary, Mhe. Felix Koskei is suggesting that he will introduce fish farming in secondary schools. I think it is a good idea because once our youth are used to this kind of activity, after they finish school, they will be able to come out strong enough and be able to practise fish farming in their homes. Therefore, I am also promising that, maybe, I will be seeing the Cabinet Secretary to be able to encourage him, so ...

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to take this opportunity to thank hon. Ganya for coming up with this Motion. I saw you and you saw me. Well, the eyes met and I think it is good. Hon. Speaker, Sir, I want to share with the Leader of the Majority Party that for the benefit of the House, I happened to be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for TARDA and I think I quite agree with hon. Dalmas Otieno. I know for sure the problem on Tana Delta has been there for quite some time. I think there were plans to build what they call the check dams upstream because most of the problems in Tana Delta are not caused ...

On a point of order, hon. Speaker, Sir. The Leader of the Majority Party is misleading the House. I never talked about River Nzoia. I talked about Sabwani River in Trans Nzoia, Kwanza District, which connects Endebess, where hon. (Dr.) Pukose comes from. Could he, please, get the facts right and answer the question well?
