  • 15 May 2013 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I want to take this opportunity to thank the hon. Member for bringing up this Motion; it is very dear to me. When you look at our senior citizens, I want to say that it is a very sad situation. Most of the old men and women are suffering. I just want to say that as you all know, the lifestyles of our children are changing because of economic hardships. Our old people are suffering because they are abandoned. I come from an area where every morning you see an old person coming to ... view

  • 2 May 2013 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I stand to second the Motion. This is very bad. I lost my brother in the first wave of these attacks. A whole ex-principal of a school, very humble and a man that you could not even argue with was brutally murdered. I buried him a week and a half ago. Hon. Wamunyinyi is one of those who helped me to bury my brother. I speak with emotion because if this continues, we are heading for chaos. Today I read in the newspapers that the Government has deployed a few security officers in the area, ... view
  • 23 Apr 2013 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, Sir, I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity. It is because I have been struggling to catch your eye since I came. Thank you because you have given me a chance at long last. First of all I want to thank the people of Kwanza for giving me the opportunity to serve them. Secondly, I want to talk about the Presidential Address. I support it because it touched very many areas that are very dear to my heart. The first one is on agriculture. You know that Trans Nzoia is the granary of this country ... view
