Some constituencies, like Mvita, are as small as seven square kilometres. Some like North Horr are as big as 38,962 kilometres and yet, all the constituencies are given the same amount of money. The diameter of the constituency from North to South is 80 kilometres. There are some constituencies whose diameter is less than two kilometres. If our officers on the ground had done their job, I am sure that this particular problem would have been prevented. I want to know from the Assistant Minister what practical actions they are taking to ensure that insecurity will not occur again in Lodwar. view
