Some of these first time Members should listen and learn from us instead of rising on points of order and they do not know what they are saying. I support the Motion because it is timely. This House should not be pushed into a corner in the establishment of this Select Committee. I have seen the names in the Select Committee. Those people who are opposed to what I am saying have been put in that Committee. We have Departmental Committees in this House. Kajwang’ and it has been communicated after a lot of consultations, it is only fair for us to support this Motion and support Hon. Chris Omulele to replace Hon. T.J. Kajwang’. Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I want to clarify one thing so that when you give your wise ruling on this matter, you can consider it. The CORD Coalition had withdrawn its Members when those deliberations were taking place. Now that we have resumed, there are new Members we have put in those places where we had withdrawn or discharged others.

Hon. Deputy Speaker, this is a House of rules. Standing Order Nos.173, 174 and 176(1) have to be followed. Since one part of the coalition is part of the House, if one part removes their Members, are the deliberations by that Committee taken as if it is the whole agreed way? It is not the House because it is only one side – Jubilee - that was represented.
