  • 31 May 2006 in National Assembly: My concern is that during the graceful dance, especially the one we used to have in the past, the breasts or buttocks could touch another person. What would happen? view
  • 3 May 2006 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for agreeing to reinstate this Question, which I did not ask yesterday because I came in late. view
  • 3 May 2006 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Transport:- (a) if he is aware that the trains ferrying passengers to and from Nairobi City and its suburbs during rush hours overload, with some commuters hanging dangerously onto the coaches, oblivious of the risk involved; (b) how many deaths have occurred as a result of (a) above; and, (c) what he is doing to alleviate the situation and protect the lives of passengers. view
  • 3 May 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Assistant Minister for that answer. I realise that he is putting a lot of confidence on the concessionaire saying that it will provide safety and security measures for our people. He has told us that the Government is putting aside Kshs70 million for that purpose. Mr. Speaker, Sir, could he assure this House that these funds will be available at the time when they will be needed? In the past, we are aware that the Government made promises, but it never meets its obligations. view
  • 27 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister of State for Immigration and Registration of Persons the following Question by Private Notice. Why are Kenyans being asked to pay for the issuance of national identity cards after the Government abolished the charge? view
  • 27 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I thank the Assistant Minister for that answer. Since the Kshs50 fee has been waived legally, could he assure the House that materials required for issuance of national identity cards are available at all registration centres in the country? view
  • 27 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wish there was ample time. Maybe the hon. Member would have got an opportunity to ask his question. Nonetheless, in his answer, the Assistant Minister has said that it costs Kshs100 to either get a duplicate identity card or replace an identity card. What does that mean? view
  • 26 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister of State for Immigration and Registration of Persons the following Question by Private Notice. Why are Kenyans still being asked to pay for the issuance of national identity cards after the Government abolished the charges? view
  • 26 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have no objection. But suppose the Minister comes in before Question Time is over, would you not allow him to reply? view
  • 26 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister has said that the project stalled because of a dispute over the ownership of that piece of land. We are aware of other bus park projects which have also stalled in the country, for example, Kericho, Bomet and Kebirigo bus parks. What does he have to say about that? view
