  • 13 Jul 2021 in Senate: The Committee participated in a training from 4th to 7th February, 2021, in Mombasa on Parliamentary Diplomacy. It was facilitated by the Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training (CPST). We were taken through well researched topics which included; principles of governance and international relations, foreign policy, diplomacy rules and the procedure of diplomacy, instruments of diplomacy, statecraft and national interests, diplomatic and negotiation skills, diplomatic protocol and etiquette and documents of diplomacy, and skills or tactics in parliamentary diplomacy which resonate with the mandate of the committee.
