We should be having a meeting with the concerned Cabinet Secretary on Tuesday, next week. I believe that by Thursday, next week, we should come here with a substantive Statement. view

Mr. Speaker, Sir, the county assemblies are an integral part of the county governments. Therefore, it is our responsibility, as the Senate, to make sure that the county assemblies are well protected and functioning but when county assemblies are on strike, it becomes our responsibility to ensure that things come back to normalcy.
