Were. The committee facilitated a response from the Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development and further invited Sen. Were and Sen. Wetangula to its sitting held on 19th May, 2021, during which further supplementary issues emerged. The committee is following up with the responsible Ministry for a comprehensive response on all emerging supplementary issues. view

(Dr.) Mbito concerning the failure by M/S Trident Insurance Company Limited to settle claims. The committee requested for the responses from the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA). However, the IRA requested for additional time to submit their report to the committee. view

The first one is consideration of republished Bills that had previously been considered by the Committee and were affected by the High Court ruling in Case No.284 of 2021. view
