  • 29 Nov 2017 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Some years back, most people wanted to associate with teachers and teaching as a noble profession. However, when it comes to higher learning where I teach, students at the university would say that they would never want to become lecturers because you just die miserable since there is no money. Education is supposed to produce leaders who are supposed to be mentors in the area of academics. However, when students cannot see lecturers as their mentors in terms of education, few people would want to join that area. I have also seen students being taught ... view

All the excuses that we got are issues that could have been solved in less than a day. If it is getting legal information, they could have received that in good time. So, ... view
  • 7 Nov 2017 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to condole with the family of the late Governor for Nyeri. I have taken this opportunity on behalf of my family, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in this country, the National Council of People with Disabilities (NCPD) and organisations of PWDs to condole with the family of the late Governor, Dr. Gakuru. This country has lost a leader. He was already sworn in. He had made a commitment to serve this country but because God decided to take him, we as the people of Kenya have no otherwise ... view
