  • 21 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: I withdraw and apologize to my friend and former Secretary- General. Mr. Speaker, Sir, my point here is that I would like the Government to be serious on what I am saying because we are creating a big problem for this country, if we do not address the issue of our youngsters who are leaving the services fully trained on how to use firearms and on maneuvers in the battle field. We need to rehabilitate them into society so that this country can be safe. I see myself as somebody who is properly trained. view
  • 4 Oct 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, is this electronic age, it is surprising that the Assistant Minister is not able to use all means available to rescue that victim. The Member has just said that he had spoken electronically with the victim. Now, we know all electronic information is controlled in New York. There is also the issue of corruption. Many lawyers today are barred from practice because they connive to take property from people. So, we want the curriculum at the Kenya School of Law to address these issues, so that future lawyers will consider human rights and the interest of the ... view

  • 24 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, sometimes we must realize, as a country that we can be in danger anytime. There are economic saboteurs. We have installations that can be destroyed. We are discovering oil. You can have somebody going to blow that oil and there is nothing you can do. This is because one of us is giving out the documents that would lead somebody to blow it up. We have power stations in this country which can be destroyed. So, let us agree that anybody aiding foreign powers for the sake of economic sabotage of this country must be dealt ... view
