What the Assistant Minister was required to do was to go and consult the military and come and inform this House whether pending the realisation of the policy to put up a police hospital, the Armed Forces Memorial Hospital will accept Regular Police and the APs on similar terms as they do with the military. The AFMH is not a military hospital. It is an armed forces memorial hospital and the police are part of the armed forces in that they carry arms. view
