All he is pointing out is that this Bill was referred to the Departmental Committee, it was considered and proposals were made for amendment. I think it is only fair that the Chair tells us what is the import of this proposed amendment.

I think it is important that hon. Members of the Committee who are here support your Chair. That is because these are very significant amendments that are being proposed! It is only fair that hon. Members know what it is that is being proposed in the amendment and why the amendments are being proposed. So, any Member of the Committee may come to the aid of the Chair of the Committee!
